LSP Top 50 party
January 29th, 2006
Yesterday I went to the LSP Top 50 party at the Biebob in Vosselaar. The top contained the 50 best sold albums (CDs and DVDs) of 2005 in the Metal Zone stores (formerly these stores were also called LSP).
It was almost 1 o’ clock when number 1 was announced: Epica with Consign to Oblivion. Opeth ended as second with Ghost Reveries and Judas Priest was third with Angel of Retribution.
It always has been dangerous for my bank account to come in the neighbourhood of the Metal Zone store, and also this time I couldn’t resist to buy some goodies:
- Anathema: Judgement and A Fine Day to Exit
- Antimatter (with Duncan Patterson, a former Anathema member): Planetary Confinement
- Danny Cavanagh (member of Anathema): A Place to Be, a tribute to Nick Drake
- Dark Tranquility: Character
- Draconian: Arcane Rain Fell
