Yesterday I’ve tried to add multiple Apache services on my Windows PC. Each of these services will use their own configuration file. One of the possibilities of different configuration files is that you can use different versions of the PHP module while using only one Apache installation.

At Christmas day, I’ve announced that I was planning to hack the eZ publish kernel to allow the use of custom functions for policy limitations. Today I’ve committed an initial version of this hack to the community SVN repository.

The current draft system of eZ publish is partially being discussed in this thread of the ez.no Setup & Design forum. The actual problem is that a new draft is created when a user pushes the “edit” button. Afterwards the user can leave the edit page by using the browser’s “back” button, leaving an unedited, unnecessary draft in the system.
